The Interval Mission

Interval exists to offer an attentive space for pastors and Christian leaders to pause, reflect honestly, and discern what faithfulness may require as striving gives way to stillness.

The Interval Foundational Values

The work of Interval is pursued with care and intention. These commitments shape both the pace of each session and the posture of the work.

  • Stillness without Avoidance
    Stillness is practiced not as retreat or disengagement, but as a means of attending honestly to what is true.

  • Slowing without Passivity
    Slowness creates space for discernment. It does not excuse responsibility or delay what faithfulness may require.

  • Care without Accommodation
    Care is offered with compassion and clarity, while not softening what is true or rearranging reality for comfort.

  • Honesty without Judgment
    Truth is spoken without condemnation. The posture is not permissive or punitive, but attentive and faithful.

  • Responsibility without Self-sufficiency
    Agency is affirmed within dependence on God, recognizing both personal responsibility and human limits.
